We were presented with a compact space, which we tried to expand to create an immersive experience. A reflective ceiling doubles the perceived volume, creating openness and reflection that defines the space. Stainless steel was explored in multiple finishes—brushed, polished, and chromed—shaping the monolithic counter, concealed doors, merchandise displays, and the ceiling plane. This singular material became both functional, due to its ease of maintenance, and formative, enabling the space to make a bold statement. To balance its coolness, walls and floors were finished in seamless microconcreting, offering warmth, tactility, and a muted backdrop. Backlit shelves with repeated coffee packages add graphic rhythm, while textured & tactile upholstery seating softens the atmosphere. The result is a dialogue between volume and material, solidity and reflection—transforming the ritual of coffee into a refined spatial experience.
